So, if you haven't read Matched the first installment in this breathtaking series, open up a new tab, go to the website of your local library and put a copy on hold. Trust me you won't regret it, this series is all about free will and the pursuit of finding oneself in a society where everything is decided for you, even the person who you will marry. I absolutely cannot wait to see how this story ends, also the love triangle, though still a bit biased, is probably one of the most unpredictable ones I've read.

The reason I want to read this? Two words: Egyptian Mythology. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a huge mythology buff and I'm looking forward to how this series will spin these myths. Plus, bonus points, Richelle Mead endorses it.

So, this is a vampire-ish novel, which as long as they don't sparkle, I'm all for. I'm also a big sucker for forbidden love books and wonder where this series is headed. I know a lot of people have their reservations about vampire books since all the hype can make it so even the most mediocre vampire related novel could get published. That being said this sounds really good seems to be a series that won't dissapoint. Also, if it's any consolation it looks like the series might not even use the word "vampire."
#4 Touched by Corrine Jackson

This seems like a haunting and somewhat tragic paranormal YA title, and with what looks to be a forbidden romance I could hardly turn away. I'm interested to see the world building of this novel and the backstory of the Protectors and those who've given up their senses for immortality. This looks to be an interesting and maybe even thought provoking read.
