Exciting Announcements!: Giveaways and Upcoming Events!

It's that time again where I let you guys in on what's coming up on my blog and potentially my YouTube channel. So feel free to watch the video or read the recap, or both!

Recap:

1. SIGNED hardcover of The Eternity Cure: First giveaway is for a SIGNED copy of The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa, now for this giveaway to start I need to get to 300 followers on this blog. So if you look to your right in the sidebar you should see a section title followers with a button that says "Join this site" click that and follow the steps to follow and once I reach 300 I will start the giveaway.

2. Watersong Prizepack: I've recently been approached by the publishing company, St. Martin's Griffin and was offered a complementary copy of Tidal, the most recently released book in the Watersong series by Amanda Hocking as well as a prize pack to giveaway to one of you guys featuring "select Griffin Teen books and a special edition iPad case" So stay tuned for more updates as they come.

3. Alabama Baby!: I'm participating in the 2013 Reading Road Trip hosted by Britta @ I Like These Books and Hafsah @ IceyBooks and will be representing the state of Alabama, which means I will be doing a bit of Alabama fun fact research and looking into some local slang too. The big part of the post will be a giveaway for a paperback copy of Looking for Alaska by John Green (US only, sorry International peeps)

4. Raven Cycle Read-Along and Giveaway: I was so excited over the cover of the next book in the Raven Cycle that @catchingfray on Twitter and I got into a rather nice discussion about the book ocver and series in general and I had decided I wanted to reread The Raven Boys before I dug into The Dream Thieves and she suggested I do a Read-Along which I instantly got excited about. Then when I got an ARC of The Dream Thieves I decided to make the Read-Along a bit more fun by offering the Arc up as a Prize. The Read-Along will start on July 23, 2013 and will run every Tuesday and Thursday until August 15, 2013 at the bottom of each post will be a new chance to gain enteries and the contest will end on August 19, 2013 (my 20th birthday btw) with a review of The Dream Thieves.

5. Giveaway Bonanza: There are so many books coming out in October 2013 many of which I obtained ARCs for thanks to the wonderful publishers @ BEA '13 and I thought I'd spread the love around. So starting very shortly after the Raven Cycle Read-Along and Giveaway is over I will be giving away book like, Shadowlark by Meagan Spooner and Teardrop by Lauren Kate all SIGNED.

6. Spoiler Alert Videos: Finally, being a spoiler-free reviewer I don't get the chance to talk about the fun spoilery twists of various novels with you guys and I've been trying to think of a way around it. I think I've finally come up with an idea, I want to utilize my YouTube channel to talk about my reactions and then discuss them in th comments with you guys, OR do a possible livestream where I get a better chance to talk and bounce ideas off you guys, the only problem with that is scheduling.
